SpiralAirfoil is an alternative energy company dedicated to inexpensive, highly productive, low environmental impact energy production for all residential and commercial uses.  We hold the patent to a unique new, highly energy efficient windmill, the SpiralAirfoil.

Conventional propeller-type wind turbines are inefficient. Too much energy is lost, i.e. they hog space without efficiently using all of the wind.  Our new horizontal axis wind turbine, the spiral airfoil, is very powerful per given radius.  This patented technology catches the wind from any direction and turns with great torque and speed.  Expectations and prior testing suggest that the start-up speed is significantly lower than other wind turbines.  It starts spinning in a light breeze.

The SpiralAirfoil is still in the testing phase, but our intent is to first supply the micro market, that of the individual homeowner.  It can be pole- or roof-mounted.  We are hoping to keep the price low so that it will be affordable to more homeowners.  We intend to have them remote/battery, then grid tied. 

With our wind turbines, we hope to improve the energy consumption impact of homes.  Wind power is one of the greenest forms of energy production as there is no pollution generated, no mining or drilling needed, and no damming of streams.  We are in need of green-interested investors to help us complete the testing and gear up for production.  The SpiralAirFoil can be seen in action at the links below.

 Earth Spiral      

 From the creative minds of SpiralAirfoil comes a beautifully crafted kinetic sculpture. 

Two tapered metal wings coil around a single axis, forming a graceful conical shape.  This piece of outdoor art is a pleasure to watch.  It seems to dance with glee in a spring breeze or a summer storm.  The wide ribbons of lustrous aluminum appear to twist and reach toward the sky.  It is easy to find yourself envisioning your worries gliding up the pole and being dispersed into the atmosphere.  The faster it moves in the light, the more fluid and ethereal it appears. 

It is a beautiful accent for your garden or your front lawn.

Included is the Earth Spiral, one tapered 6" long 4 x 4 connected to a 1/2" fiberglass rod.  Mounting bracket and screws are included.  The wings come assembled and ready to mount on the base.  Very easy to install.  The Earth Spiral is 24" tall and 24" at its widest point at the base.  We recommend mounting it on a 6 to 10 ft. 4x4 post or fence.
